Saudi Ministry emphasizes the need of wearing masks and maintaining social distance at mosques.

To safeguard their health and protect themselves from the Covid-19 coronavirus and its variants, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call, and Guidance emphasized the need to take preventative steps, maintain social space between worshipers in mosques, and wear masks.

The ministry stated that it continually follows up on any precautionary measures orders received from the relevant authorities and tries to execute them. The ministry urged imams and preachers to educate the community about the importance of public health and following rules and instructions to guarantee the safety and health of worshipers.

The ministry urged worshipers to report any failure to follow the instructions to the ministry’s Beneficiary Services Center 1933.
